A 27-year-old San Diego man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a courthouse attack on two female employees of the district attorney’s office.
The women, both clerks in the family support division, were in a restroom on the 5th floor of the County Courthouse in downtown San Diego at mid-afternoon when a man assaulted them, according to Steve Casey, spokesman for the district attorney’s office.
Their screams attracted assistance from other employees, who entered the restroom and subdued the attacker, Casey said.
Jerome Howard of downtown San Diego was arrested on suspicion of assault.
