Savings and Loan Robbed: An unidentified man between the ages of 20 and 30 robbed Downey Savings & Loan Assn., situated in the 2100 block of Lake Forest Drive, on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. The man entered the firm just after 4 p.m. and handed a teller a note that read, “Give me all your money.” The man took an unknown amount of cash and fled, Lt. Tom Conner of the Sheriff’s Department said. No one was injured. Witnesses told investigators they did not see the robber display a weapon, Conner said. An investigation is continuing.
