Proposition 64: AIDS Initiative

I agree that we should vote no on Proposition 64. We all fear this deadly disease, but mad hysterical reaction to a problem will not make it disappear. Proposition 64 would only create more havoc and would not bring us closer to the solution of this problem.
What we can do is educate people. Let the public know that AIDS is not transmitted through casual contact. Make us aware that the chances of it spreading to the heterosexual population are increasing everyday. That homosexuals will not be the only victims to the disease if we do not curtail this society’s free and uninhibited association with sex. Let’s join together in combating the AIDS epidemic.
