Kansas City Edges Sockers in Exhibition

Damir Haramina broke a 4-4 tie with 10:38 remaining to give Kansas City a 6-4 exhibition indoor soccer victory over the Sockers Monday in front of 8,520 in the Salt Palace at Salt Lake City. John Bain added a goal with 2:36 left to clinch the victory for Kansas City (4-1).
Trailing, 2-0, after the first quarter, the Sockers tied the match with goals by Fernando Clavijo and Cha Cha Nandar. Kansas City went ahead, 4-2, in the third period but the Sockers rallied with goals by Waad Hirmaz and Jean Willrich.
San Diego (2-2) plays the Los Angeles Lazers Saturday in Las Vegas.
