Bomb Threat Halts Jet

TEL AVIV — A West German Lufthansa airliner carrying 124 passengers from Tel Aviv to Frankfurt made an emergency stop in Rhodes on Tuesday after an anonymous caller to the Tel Aviv airport said there was a bomb aboard. Security officials on the Greek island inspected the Boeing 727 but found no explosives, and the flight resumed.
