Kaypro is expected to settle a lawsuit today.

The class-action suit accused company officers of fraudulently inflating the company’s revenue and earnings outlook before a $40-million initial public offering in August, 1983. Neither Kaypro officials nor attorneys for the various plaintiff groups that brought suit would discuss terms of the anticipated settlement. In previous SEC filings, Kaypro has declined to estimate its liability and has not disclosed whether its insurance policy would cover a settlement.
