The CSUN-Sacramento State game matches the two top rushers in the WFC and top two teams. CSUN’s Mike Kane has a conference-leading 1,410 yards, and Rob Harrison of Sacramento is second with 1,179. . . . Chris Parker of Northridge is third in the WFC pass rating and punting. Parker, who attempted 424 passes and threw for a school-record 2,658 yards last season, has only 135 attempts this season. But he’s completed 70 for 1,007 yards and 11 touchdowns with only six interceptions. He also punts for a 40.5-yard average.
In his last two games, Cal Lutheran running back Cary Grant has scored 4 touchdowns, caught 20 passes for 313 yards and run for 170 on 20 carries.
Northridge and Sacramento are the best two fourth-quarter teams in WFC. Northridge has outscored opponents, 58-29, in the last period, while Sacramento has a 92-46 edge. . . . Northridge leads the WFC in turnover ratio at +7. Sacramento is last at -10. Northridge is first in scoring defense (17.7) and second in scoring offense (29).
