Jackson and the Jews

The attention given to Jesse Jackson’s unfortunate comment has been absurdly out of proportion compared to other questionable comments made by other public figures. And when will the obvious become accepted? To be against Israeli expansionism is not to be anti-Semitic. But if we are to connect national politics with race, then let us remember that Israel is a major trading partner of South Africa-- military equipment included.
