Both suspects in the kidnap-murder of a Redlands woman were advised of their rights, San Bernardino County authorities said. Denying published reports that said their investigation was in jeopardy because of the rights issue, Redlands Police Chief Robert Brickley said Cynthia Lynn Coffman, 24, was “advised her Miranda rights” before she led investigators to the shallow grave of Corinna D. Novis. Dist. Atty. Dennis Kottmeier said prosecutors will pursue a death penalty case against Coffman and James Gregory Marlow, 30. Coffman and Marlow, are also suspects in the strangulation death of a 19-year-old Huntington Beach woman.
