Arizona Is Upset by Stanford, 29-24

TOKYO — Kevin Scott returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter Sunday to help Stanford to a 29-24 Pacific-10 football upset of Arizona in front of an estimated 50,000 fans.
Reserve quarterback Greg Ennis, who passed for a second-quarter touchdown on a fake field goal, added what proved to be the decisive touchdown when he scored from a yard out to give the Cardinal a 29-17 lead with 5 1/2 minutes to play.
