Iran-Contra Connection: Reagan’s Watergate?

Lt. Col. North seems to be the only person with complete knowledge of the transfer of money to the contras--money siphoned off the sale of weapons to Iran.
Even if the President and his Cabinet are vindicated, the political climate they’ve created in the country today could easily have led to such an illegal, underhanded situation. Therefore, Reagan and his White House staff are as guilty in this matter as is North.
