Cincinnati Bengal Coach Sam Wyche apologized to a Denver radio reporter for a postgame outburst in which he tried to wrestle a microphone away.

After the Bengals’ 34-28 loss to the Broncos Sunday, Wyche kicked a door of an interview area. He told an unidentified reporter, “Wipe that smile off your face, just wipe it off. There’s nothing funny going on here.”

Denver radio reporter Lee Frank, working for National Public Radio, asked Wyche: “How come you kicked the door?” Wyche became angry, and walked toward Frank. He tried to take a microphone away from Frank and had security officials remove the reporter from the interview area.
