4 Killed, 3 Hurt in Wrong-Way Freeway Crash

Four people, including a boy about 7, were killed and three others suffered minor injuries in a grinding, head-on crash involving a wrong-way driver on the westbound Ventura Freeway near Liberty Canyon in Agoura late Thursday night, authorities reported.
Los Angeles County Firefighter Charley Gibson said four vehicles were involved in the crash and all of the four fatalities were in one car. California Highway Patrol officers said a driver traveling the wrong way set off the accident, but it was not known if that driver was injured.
The boy was dead on arrival at Westlake Community Hospital, and the three injury victims were also being treated there.
