Thomas E. Arnold has resigned as president and director of Del E. Webb Corp., Phoenix, to “pursue interests in the private business sector,” the real estate company said. Arnold felt “restricted in a public company environment and decided he wanted to go out on his own,” Chairman Robert K. Swanson said.
