Forget all the political bickering. The real controversy over ABC’s much publicized “Amerika” miniseries may be between the critics, if these there’s any indication in the early reviews of the first four hours (screened in Nebraska last week):
Brian Donlon, USA Today: “Kristofferson offers a chilling and emotional performance. . . .”
Rick Dubrow, L.A. Herald-Ex: “(Kristofferson) has the charisma of a gnat. He is dull to watch, dull to listen to. . . .”
