Paley, Tisch Keep CBS Posts

NEW YORK — The CBS Inc. board today unanimously elected founder William S. Paley as chairman and Laurence A. Tisch as president and chief executive of the giant broadcasting concern.
Both men had held those titles on an acting basis since last fall, when Thomas H. Wyman resigned from all three posts. The company said that by making its selections, the board’s search and management committees--set up in last September to find a successor to Wyman--”have completed their functions.”
