Dodgers’ Hershiser Files for Arbitration Again
- Share via
Dodger right-hander Orel Hershiser, who won a $1-million contract in arbitration last season, has filed for arbitration again.
In 1985, Hershiser went 19-3 with a 2.03 earned-run average, then he and the Dodgers could not agree on terms of his 1986 contract. The Dodgers offered him $600,000, but he was awarded $1 million.
Also filing Wednesday were pitcher Mike Moore, catcher Bob Kearney and first baseman Ken Phelps, all of the Seattle Mariners.
