The expansion will add 72 screens to AMC’s Southern California theater circuit, the company said. The total value of the projects is more than $20 million, a spokesman said. AMC now owns and operates 68 screens in 11 locations in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties. The new theaters will be in West Hollywood, Santa Ana, Fullerton, Hermosa Beach, Chino, Victorville, Century City and Puente Hills. Nationwide, AMC owns and operates 1,344 screens in 264 locations in 27 states.
