LONG BEACH — George Puou scored 23 points Saturday night to lead San Jose State to a 71-59 Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. victory over Cal State Long Beach.
San Jose State improved to 10-9 overall and 6-4 in the league. Long Beach dropped to 11-11 and 6-4.
