Local News in Brief : Canoga Park Man Dies as Car Rolls Into Ravine

A Canoga Park man was killed Thursday when his car rolled 250 feet backward to the bottom of a ravine and flipped over south of Acton, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Charles A. Munn, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene, near Soledad Canyon and Bootlegger Canyon roads, CHP officer Monty Keifer said.
Munn was driving uphill on an unmarked dirt road shortly after 1 p.m. when, for an unknown reason, the car rolled backward, Keifer said.
