Deputy Press Secretary Named by White House

WASHINGTON — Leslye Arsht, a former government and corporate public affairs officer, has been selected as a deputy White House press secretary, chief spokesman Marlin Fitzwater announced Friday.
Arsht, 41, a native of Houston, previously worked at the Environmental Protection Agency and the Washington office of Union Carbide, Fitzwater said. She has been on leave from the Cabot Corp. of Boston.
