Servite’s Jacobsen Will Attend Navy

Phillip Jacobsen, an All-Angelus League offensive guard at Servite High School, has signed a national letter of intent to attend the U.S. Naval Academy. He’s the first Orange County athlete to sign with Navy this year.
Jacobsen, 6-feet 2-inches and 225 pounds, will play outside linebacker or center for Navy, said Jack Cassidy, an assistant coach at Servite. Jacobsen was recruited by four Ivy League schools--Dartmouth, Cornell, Penn and Princeton--along with the U.S. Air Force Academy and Army, Cassidy said.
