The State : Suspect’s Home Rammed
State and local narcotics agents, using a Fresno-owned tow truck as a battering ram, raided the house of a man suspected of being a major drug supplier. The officers found Alfredo Bustos, 30, still in bed when they rammed their way through a fence and two doors in his house. Bustos was arrested for possession of 30 pounds of marijuana and one ounce of heroin. Bill Miller, a special agent for the state Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement, said officers also found five pistols, four rifles, a shotgun and a large amount of jewelry in the suspect’s house during the raid. Miller said the raid resulted from a two-year investigation of Bustos, and said he is regarded as a major supplier of illegal drugs in Fresno and Madera counties.
