Selective ‘Hit List’
Small wonder that a lot of readers will agree with the opinions of Ernie Kreiling, (Letters, March 8) that it is “hard to look upon The Times as a ‘news’ paper as opposed to a blatant liberal tract.” For on the very same page, we had the column, “Consumers Can Use Social Responsibility in Shopping Choices.”
In the column, companies that do business in or with South Africa are blasted several times. But not once is there any mention of companies doing business with the country whose governments have killed more people than the total population of South Africa. But then Russia isn’t on the liberal hit list, but rather to be praised at the slightest excuse. Makes you wonder who really funds these liberal organizations.
