The prize money for this year’s Wimbledon tennis championships will total nearly $3.5 million--an increase of more than 16% from last year, All England Club officials said. The men’s singles champion will earn $220,100, up $21,300 from last year. The women’s singles champion will receive $198,090, up $18,460.
