Edward Louis Young III, a former airline baggage handler at Houston’s Hobby Airport, was convicted Tuesday of stealing two Colt .45 pistols and a holster belonging to Clayton Moore, television’s Lone Ranger. Young, 43, faces up to 10 years in prison for taking the items last Christmas Eve from a suitcase belonging to Moore that was stolen at the airport. Young testified he bought the holster and guns for $200 from a man who was trying to pawn them. Still missing are two Ranger costumes and the “silver” bullets that were with the guns and holster in a suitcase belonging to Moore.
