Duane L. Storhaug has been elected controller of Times Mirror Co., Los Angeles, and will oversee the firm’s operations accounting, reporting and internal auditing. Storhaug most recently served as executive assistant to David A. Laventhol, president of Times Mirror, which owns The Times and other media properties.
