Oak Industries Completes Acquisition of Firm

Oak Industries on Tuesday completed is previously announced acquisition of Railway Maintenance Equipment Co. from Rexnord Inc. for $15.5 million in cash. The Rexnord subsidiary that produces railbed maintenance equipment sold under the Nordberg trade name reported $16 million in 1986 revenue.
Railway Maintenance Equipment Co. has 100 employees and operates out of a 90,000-square-foot facility in Milwaukee.
