The body of a woman found strangled and stabbed to death in Bonita has been identified by the Sheriff’s Department as 21-year-old Rhonda Lynn Hollis of San Diego.
The department said Hollis was a transient and detectives had no motive.
Two joggers found Hollis’ fully clothed body Sunday afternoon beneath a tree in the 3600 block of Valley Road. Authorities said Hollis had been dead at least 24 hours when she was discovered with multiple stab wounds and wrapped in a blanket.
