Brea : Applicants Sought for Seat on School Board

Applications are available for candidates to fill the school board seat of John Rosell, who has announced his retirement effective Aug. 6.
Rosell, an educator for 33 years, has been a member of the Brea-Olinda Unified School District board since 1979.
The school board will appoint a replacement rather than hold a special election. Candidates will be announced at the May 21 board meeting.
Applicants must be 18 or older and live in the school district. Applications are available at the school district office, 1 Civic Center Circle, Brea.
The deadline for returning the forms is 1 p.m. May 20.
