UCSD Men Share First-Round Lead in Division III Golf

SAN DIEGO — UC San Diego and Ohio Wesleyan shot team totals of 302 to share the first-round lead of the NCAA Division III men’s golf championships Tuesday at Mansfield, Ohio.
The 72-hole event at the par-72, 6,356-yard Westbrook Country Club was delayed two hours by fog and drizzle. UC San Diego has finished second the past two seasons to Cal State Stanislaus at the national championships.
Greensboro’s Mike McGuire shot a two-under 70 to take the individual lead.
