More than 2,500 Paramount High School students got the day off after sheriff’s deputies found four devices meant to resemble pipe bombs scattered on the school grounds. Deputy Lynda Edmonds said the bomb squad rushed to the campus before classes began after a janitor discovered a note, taped to a door, that said five explosive devices had been hidden there.
