Lebanese Doctor Loses Legs in Car Bomb Blast

SIDON, Lebanon — A pro-Iranian Shia Muslim doctor had both legs blown off today when his car exploded near this southern Lebanese port city, police said.
They said Ibrahim Atwi, director of Sidon’s government-run hospital, had just left his home village of Ghaziyeh when his booby-trapped car blew up.
