2nd Quarter Income Is Up for National Education

National Education Corp. of Irvine said that its net income for the second quarter was $2.9 million, a 30% increase from $2.2 million in the same period last year. Revenues for the period were $69.6 million, up 19% from $58.5 million.
For the first half of the year, profits totaled $5.6 million, an 24% jump from $4.5 million last year. Revenues totaled $138.3 million, up 34% from $103.2 million.
