Lemmon to Get AFI Life Award

Academy Award-winning actor Jack Lemmon today was named the recipient of the American Film Institute’s 1988 Life Achievement Award. Lemmon, 62, will receive the prestigious award during a televised gala ceremony on March 10 at the Beverly Hilton hotel, the AFI said.
