William M. Ballon has been named president and CEO of InterDyne Co., replacing John R. Morrison, who remains chairman.
Ballon, who was chairman of InterDyne from December, 1974, to July, 1983, said that his appointment is temporary until his successor is named.
In addition, James C. Hunt has resigned as vice president and chief financial officer. Suzann M. Manteufel, controller, has been named acting chief financial officer.
The company is currently conducting discussions with investors regarding needed additional working capital.
InterDyne Co., headquartered in Milpitas, is a product manufacturer and technology developer in the computer peripherals marketplace.
