The New York Stock Exchange said trading...

The New York Stock Exchange said trading proceeded smoothly as a strike by clerical workers extended to a third day and the exchange resumed a normal operating schedule. No new contract talks have been scheduled between the NYSE and Local 153 of the Office and Professional Employees International Union, which began its strike on Tuesday, a spokesman for the NYSE said. The union represents about 1,100 floor reporters, clerks, secretaries and maintenance workers at the exchange.
