Three more suspects in the kidnaping of a 5-year-old girl from her millionaire Spanish father’s house were arrested in Paris, bringing to nine the number held in Spain and in France. The Paris arrests hardened evidence that the kidnaping of Melodie Nakachian, who was rescued in a police raid Friday in the Spanish town of San Roque, was masterminded in France. Five suspects are being held in Paris and four in Spain. Spanish police are still looking for two Frenchmen who escaped after being stopped at a roadblock, two hours before police stormed the villa where Melodie was being held. The kidnapers, who held her for 11 days and threatened to starve her to death, initially demanded $13 million in ransom but lowered the sum to $2 million.
