Franklin Telecom Shows 1st-Quarter Profit

Franklin Telecommunications said it earned $76,000 for the first quarter that ended Sept. 30, contrasted with a loss of $118,000 a year earlier. Results per share are negligible because the company has 51 million shares of stock outstanding. Revenue for the first quarter was up 12.5%, to $4.9 million, compared with $4.4 million a year earlier. Franklin Telecommunications is a Westlake Village maker of data communications devices and other computer-related products.
