Chicago Cubs pitcher Rick Sutcliffe is the 33rd winner of the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award from Phi Delta Theta national collegiate fraternity. The award is given annually to a major league player who best fits the image and character of Gehrig, who was a member of the fraternity while at Columbia University.
