Kings Play Flames at Calgary Tonight

CALGARY, Canada — The Kings, who ended a 1-2 home stand Tuesday night with a 6-3 comeback victory over the New York Rangers, will open a five-game trip tonight at the Olympic Saddledome against the Calgary Flames.
Bob Carpenter, whose injured left shoulder kept him out of the Kings’ last two games, is not with the team.
The Flames are 28-13-5 and tied with the Edmonton Oilers for the Smythe Division lead, 26 points ahead of the last-place Kings.
The Kings (15-28-5) are 6-16-3 on the road but were able to beat the Flames, 6-3, here Dec. 21.
