The America’s Cup defenders dropped their opposition to New Zealand’s challenge and will send skipper Dennis Conner against the New Zealanders this fall in yachting’s most prestigious race.
A New York judge had previously upheld a challenge from New Zealand over the rules governing the regatta that took place last year in Australia.
New Zealand and the United States will meet in September at a location yet to be announced.
