Soviets Dismantling A-Rockets

BERLIN — The Soviet Union has begun dismantling intermediate-range nuclear rockets stationed in East Germany, the state-run news agency ADN reported tonight.
According to the report, rockets stationed near Neubrandenburg, north of Berlin, have been dismantled and crated and are ready for transport back to the Soviet Union. Under a treaty signed in Washington in December by President Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev, the superpowers agreed to eliminate the medium-range missiles. The U.S. Senate has yet to ratify the treaty.
