Brad Gilbert, ranked No. 13 in the world, has withdrawn from the $702,500 Newsweek Champions Cup tennis tournament, Feb. 29-March 6, at Indian Wells.
Gilbert has a chipped bone in his left foot which also caused him to withdraw from a tournament in Memphis, Tenn., this week and an event next week in Philadelphia.
