H.J. Heinz Co.’s income rose 22% to $91.1 million for the third quarter. Sales totaled $1.3 billion, up 15.5%. The Pittsburgh food company attributed the results to a 4% unit volume increase, supplemented by the effect of acquisitions and stronger foreign currencies against the U.S. dollar.
