Bomb Near Saudi Office Injures Man in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — A homemade bomb exploded near the Saudi Arabian Airline office here Monday and injured a passerby, police said.
Aaron Abraham, deputy superintendent of police, told reporters that Mohammed Fauzir Baharuddin, 33, saw a bag on the sidewalk in front of the building housing the the airline’s office and decided to open it. When he did, the bomb exploded, blowing off a finger and injuring him on the face, neck and chest, Abraham said.
Police said they didn’t know the motive for the bombing or who was responsible for it.
