Clippers Sign Forwards Fields, Gregory

Forwards Kenny Fields and Claude Gregory signed 10-day contracts with the Clippers, the club announced Monday.
Fields, a former UCLA star, averaged 6.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in five games since he signed his first 10-day contract with the Clippers on Feb. 27.
Gregory replaces rookie forward Joe Wolf, who was placed on the injured list last week with a sprained right knee. Gregory has played with the LaCrosse (Wis.) Catbirds in the Continental Basketball Assn this season. He was averaging 23.9 points and 11.5 rebounds.
