Scaled-Down ‘Star Wars’

It is curious that no scientist explains how the world will protect itself from radiation when and if “Star Wars” works and destroys all the atomic missiles being shot at us and the fallout from the destroyed missiles scatters to Earth as eventually it will.
Is a slow, agonizing death preferable to a quick one from the atomic blast? The world was alarmed at the radiation from Chernobyl. The destruction of missiles by “Star Wars” weapons will contaminate the world’s waters, lands and cities. There will be no place to hide. The world will be nothing but empty buildings and still highways.
