UCSD Sweeps Past Menlo in Baseball

UC San Diego swept Menlo College Tuesday in a nonconference baseball doubleheader at Menlo.
Larry Assayag was 2 for 2 with a grand slam and 7 RBIs as UCSD (15-7), ranked fourth in the country in Division III, won the first game, 12-2.
Brian Crawford was 4 for 5 with 3 RBIs to lead the Toreros in the second game, 8-7.
Menlo is 7-15.
