Thomas A. McFall, managing partner of Weatherly Private Capital in New York, was named chairman and chief executive of Hamburger Hamlets, a Sherman Oaks chain of 23 restaurants.
In addition, Paul Brockman, Hamburger Hamlets’ vice president and chief financial officer, was named president and chief operating officer.
The appointments came as shareholders approved the sale of the company for $29.2 million to Weatherly Restaurant Group, which was formed by partners in Weatherly Private Capital.
Hamburger Hamlets was formerly controlled by founders Harry and Marilyn Lewis, who owned 70% of the stock. The couple will be retained as consultants.
